Lumaarthi is for educational purposes only. It reads lesson pages aloud and explains them.
Only to provide the app: reading the page, explaining it, answering questions, drawing pictures and reading aloud. We do not sell data, show ads, or use your content to train AI models.
On Microsoft Azure: in India (Central India and South India) for storage, reading, voices and explanations. The animations of a page's pictures are drawn by an Azure OpenAI model that may run outside India: it receives the page's text and photo, never your name or account. Story pictures are made in the United States from a short scene description written by the app, never your photo or page text. Azure AI services do not use your data to train models.
Photos and text are checked by Azure AI Content Safety. Questions and words you type or say are checked before the AI sees them. AI can make mistakes; please check important facts with your teacher or textbook. You can report any AI answer from inside the app.
Lessons stay until you delete them or your account. Page photos are deleted after 30 days; photos that could not be used are deleted immediately. Explanations and animations made for a textbook page are shared by everyone who scans the same page and hold no personal data: explanations are kept 30 days, a page's animations up to a year. Usage counters are kept 90 days.
Lumaarthi is designed for students. If you are under 18, use it with a parent's or guardian's permission. We collect only what the app needs to work.
